European roulette

Always play European roulette

One of the more simple roulette tricks is that you should always play the European roulette.

If you don’t already know, there are several different types of roulette tables. The 3 most popular tables are:

European roulette

This is the most popular roulette wheel. The reason we recommend this as one of our roulette tips is that this is where the odds of winning are best. The house edge here is 2.63%, which is the lowest of the 3. This wheel has only a single 0.

American roulette

The second most popular roulette wheel. Here the house has an advantage of 5.26%. This wheel has both 0 and 00, reducing your chances of winning.

French roulette

French roulette

This wheel is often assumed to be the “original” roulette wheel and the wheel is identical to the European one. However, the table itself is different, and you can place special bets here. We do not recommend using this roulette unless you are an experienced player.

As mentioned in our roulette tips, you should always play European roulette, as the probability of winning is higher than the other two.
